LATEST CELIS ISSUE

According to the TV media including El Defenzor Radio Celis is fighting for property taken in a seizure. Canales, the attorney for Celis argued that the Captain for the Attorney General's office was making general assumptions with not based in fact about Celis and swore to it. Rumors flew around the courthouse today that Canales had subpoenaed the Captain but he failed to appear. Judge Greenwell did not issue a warrant or order that the Captain appear but did set a hearing for 8:30 a.m. this Thursday January 31,2008 in the 319th court 8th floor Nueces County Courthouse.

Subpoenaed witnesses who work for the State of Texas are always thwarting the law when it comes to appearing as a witness (defense) in an adversarial proceeding where the State is a party and the witness testimony might adversely affect the outcome against the state. Ask Mary Cano & John "Malicious Prosecutor" Hubert all about it.

Maybe they should realize the "essence" of the witness was there.

ROTFLMAO

Kind of like the "strategy" of the attorney who slept through the trial and Texas Jurisprudence became the laughing stock of the United States!
